Chimchar (Japanese: ヒコザル Hikozaru) is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in Generation IV.
Chimchar has the ID number 125 in Pokémon Duel.
It evolves into Monferno, which evolves into Infernape.
Along with Turtwig and Piplup, Chimchar is one of three starter Pokémon of Sinnoh available at the beginning of generation 4.

- Chimchar isn't seen much around, but its not very hard to evolve and its final evolution, Infernape, can be valuable to have on your team.
- It is ill-advised to use materials to buy this figure.
- You should focus on Fury Swipes when you level up Chimchar. Taunt is mostly useless and should be avoided.
- Watch out for burn and paralyze. These will render Chimchar almost useless.
